The cultivation of the vines is located on the “La Costa” hill which overlooks the town of Pontremoli, and comprises approximately 5 hectares of vineyards.
The Farm has a South-South West exposure, on a predominantly terraced hill and the soil composition consits of a strong stony texture and stone, which allows the grapes to reach perfect ripeness.
The production and bottling as well as the drying process of the grapes used for the production of the passito takes place in these cellars. An oil mill and three ancient water mills can also be found on the grounds of the property.
Once the wine is bottled, it is then brought to this ancient monastery, which is characterized by stone vaults and dates back to the early part of the 1st century, so it can then be packaged and sold.
